Following the trailer released by Rockstar yesterday, which caused GTAV to be the highest trend on Twitter world-wide. Rockstar have now released an accompanying statement confirming a number of details, many have guessed from the trailer.
According to the release, the game will take place in “the city of Los Santos and surrounding hills, countryside and beaches.” Los Santos being one of the three cities in San Andreas
The publisher also went on to make the bold claim that this fifth instalment is “the largest and most ambitious game Rockstar has yet created”.
“A bold new direction in open-world freedom, storytelling, mission-based game play and online multiplayer, Grand Theft Auto V focuses on the pursuit of the almighty dollar in a re-imagined, present-day Southern California. Rockstar Games pioneered the open world genre with the Grand Theft Auto series, one of the most successful entertainment properties of all time. So with a number of bold promises the gaming world will wait with baited breath for further information on what will surely be upon release one of the highest selling games ever.
