Now if you ask anyone I love Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, and if you read my last peice on the game then you would already know that. However, I have decided to write this article as I was playing online yesterday just for a little bit (8 hours) and a few things were annoying me so here we go. Some things that I hate about MW3.
So once again I would love to hear your comments below if you like what your seeing or if you don’t like what your seeing and I may put up part two of things I hate about MW3. I hope you enjoy what your about to read and please remember that this is my opinion and everyone is entitled to there opinion even if its wrong or right.
JOINING A MATCH WHEN ITS ALL OVER!
Yes! I absolutely love joining a match of domination which has a score of 180 plays 196 why could you not just wait to join the match or find me one that has just started? Its the same for any game type really. It can go either way where you can join a match that has on just started but I just think for something that had been “patched” it still should still not be doing this.
HAVING SOMEBODY FOLLOW YOU THAT SHOWS UP ON EVERYTHING (ESPECIALLY PREDATOR MISSILES) !!!!
MW3 isn’t know for being the best team game and it could not be more clear when you have some idiot following you who is completely visible to everything and yes then the player on the other team decides to drop a predator missile on him which will take you out as well!!!!!! Now I’m not going to tell you that everyone has to have the same perks as me but if you are visible to everything stay away from everyone else. I know you can still be seen on the screen but I don’t have that annoying red square around me and when I watch the killcam while swearing at the screen you will see that the player went for that loverly bloke that was following you who can be seen by all! Thanks mate I wasn’t on a killstreak.
GETTING MULTIPLE HIT MARKERS ON A PLAYER AND THEN GETTING SHOT ONCE AND DYING!
Now this one is close to many of your hearts I think it happens to a lot of us all the time and Activision and Infinity Ward have tried to address this in a patch which has been release but if you ask me nothing has changed and this is still an annoying problem the best way to combat this if this really gets on your nerves is to play Hardcore game types. This can still happen when you play these match types but you will find that when you actually hit somebody they will die!
CAMPERS!
Ok, So I’m going to settle an argument that a lot of players will always end up saying “f**king Camper” a camper is somebody who sits in one spot all the time killing people right? Well that is correct but this is how I see it. If you are using a Sniper Class you are ALLOWED! to camp as this is something real snipers do. I would like to take a guess that the British Army Sniper’s don’t run around quick or no scoping the enemy. If you have any other class you should not stay stationary for to long as this is camping and if you want to do that go and play somewhere else as you are wasting everybody’s time. Snipers are mean’t to camp and take people out from long distance.
GETTING KICKED FROM A SERVER WHEN YOU ARE ON FIRE!
This is another thing that I get sick of seeing when I’m enjoying a game of Kill Confirmed or Domination and I’m like 30 kills to 3 deaths and then I get kicked from a game because the host either leaves and the game wont find anyone else or it just feels like kicking you. When this happens I often walk away from my Xbox 360 for five minutes as the chances are I’ll jump back into a game and it will happen to me again.
LAGGING EVEN WHEN EVERYONE HAS FULL SIGNAL!
This is another thing that I can’t understand, you will experience really bad lag where it looks like everyone is walking in slow motion even though you and the opposition have fully signal then you will start to think when am I going to get kick from the game this will go on for a few moments through out the game which is again a frustrating thing for any player to experience. I’ve had to stop playing MW3 at the moment and ended up writing this article due to some of the problems listed above.
I really enjoy MW3 and will still keep playing the game. I think things have been improved since MW2 that’s for sure but we are a long way off perfection. One thing I must say is that when I wrote my last article on MW3 I was getting a number of emails and a few comments saying people where also trading in MW3 for something else so Activision you should really take the time out to sort out your major gravy train of a franchise and start producing better quality games that fans are going to want to play and be proud to own because at the moment I don’t think you’ve made a step forwards, more like two steps back.
